HUMINT

Human Intelligence (HUMINT) is the acquisition of information by human sources through both covert and overt collection techniques. HUMINT can be said to be the oldest form of intelligence. Military operations, such as patrols, forward observers and trained observers are another form HUMINT reporting. But in addition to espionage and cloak-and-dagger activity, intelligence can also come from other sources less likely to be oriented with HUMINT, such as employees, by-standers and business associates.

In the modern age, HUMINT is as important as ever. Like all information, HUMINT has to be gathered, analyzed and integrated with the rest of the intelligence sources.

MindCite suggests a solution to appropriately receive HUMINT data and integrate it with other intelligence sources, providing optimal conditions for collectors and \ or analysts to input data, evaluate it and disseminate accordingly.

How Does It Work?

On the base of Citer Platform, the HUMINT solution is a module executed by CiTray desktop application. A HUMINT document in any format is submitted to this application by uploading it from the desk of the end user, tagged accordingly by him and then entered into the overall Citer repository for further analysis and retrieval within Citer platform.
