Citer® Uses industry-standard OWL (Web Ontology Language) based Ontology [1] to represent the metadata extracted from Information-Items, as well as data which resides in structured and non-structured silo. This allows unprecedented effectiveness and efficiency In Information-Fusion, as well as significant improvement to text-mining and information-retrieval.
Citer® uses modern NLP (Natural Language Processing) engine which allows the system to identify entities mentioned within texts, identify key-parts of web-pages and using the Ontology, to create a readable-summary for each information-item. Combining the extracted entities with faceted-search and semantic-tagging allows the users to slice-and-dice information that was obtained from unstructured content.
Built entirely in Java™ using modern frameworks like Spring, J2EE and GWT as well as unique persistency mechanism for storing Semantic Metadata allows Citer® to scale-out and scale-up to allow hundreds of users working concurrently with the system. The modular, Service-Oriented design of the system allows greater manageability and interoperability with other systems.
Being an application targeted for Intelligence professionals, Citer® is fanatic about Security.
The system incorporates Authentication, Authorization, Auditing and Anonymization capabilities, which ensure that sensitive information is viewable only by authorized users, and make it virtually impossible for the outside world cannot track the system’s behavior. Citer® is trusted by many intelligence, regulatory and law-enforcement agencies with the most sensitive data and gained this trust after being inspected by security-experts worldwide.
